A New York institution, Gramercy Tavern is in my top five places to eat. I recently visited for the new outdoor dining situation - Gramercy Tavern in the Streets. The menu is a smaller selection for obvious reasons, but still classic. The \must-orders\ are the oysters, chicken liver mousse (light and whipped texture), and the bolognese. Tables were spaced well enough apart, sanitizer on each table, and it was a pleasant dining experience in true Gramercy Tavern fashion. Can't wait to return.

Invaluable restaurant service! From their front desk, Mary assisted me nicely. She was pretty and perfectly suited for her jobs. I am very happy that I found this incredible place by accident. They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. Great interior! Highly recommended for friends for having an excellent atmosphere. Superior!

The burger!!!! We had single burgers (really two patties) with egg and bacon! They didn't ask what temperature you'd like the burger but we see why now. The bacon is so thick, sweet and crispy, it give the burger a kick! It had some pink but I think that's what makes it so tender. The egg was a nice flavorful addition.

We ordered the mushroom lasagna from Gramercy Tavern for dinner last night and it was TERRIBLE! It was mostly crusty brown pasta edges (see pic - and note, that's taken directly from looking down at it). And what filling there was, was dry and flavorless, with just an aftertaste of dried (not fresh) shiitakes. This was not the quality one should be able to count on from them. We've had hit or miss experiences with them since COVID hit. I think we're done.
