Good place to stay if you find yourself in this quiet part of Denmark. Rooms are big, with drink making kit and garden sitting areas outside each room. Slightly dated and could do with curtains rather than blinds but overall comfy. Quality and selection of breakfast things is particularly good, and the breakfast rooms are quite grand. The restaurant is really good - some fine beers and their house burger with chips is a thing of beauty and several thousand calories. They also have an ice cream cake if you can manage it after the burger. Don't miss the castle across the lake from the restaurant and the 10 million year old killer whale next to the rooms. Particularly spooky if you see it at night.

I got a recommendation for the place and went out of way to have a quick bite to eat. I was not able to find any kitchen opening hours at the website so I just went expecting it to be open for service. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed and the staff was not really friendly. Maybe I was just unlucky. Call in advance to be sure.
Great service from the very start from a very well mannered young man. The dinner was absolutely sublime considering the fairly low price. The breakfast buffet was also well assorted way better than other places I've been.
Nice stay. Friendly staff. Tasteful breakfast and plenty to choose between.
A nice cost little place. Good food at the restaurant. Good for a little R&R.
