We brought our very sick bunny that we only been in our family for 4 days. Levi our bunny had GI Status. We visited the vets 4 times. Each vet we spoken has been so helpful and understanding and informative. I cannot recommend enough! We want to specially thank the vet named Gavin, who spent lots of time explaining things to us and taking a caring approach. It felt like he was just as invested in our little bunny as we were. We explained we didn't have much money to spare as we already spent upwards of a 100. He did his best to keep costs down, to take the time to speak to us. Levi is making a slow recovery and is eating on his own again and playing with his toys. Its all thanks to the amazing vets and nurses at Gourley's. If you want to take your pet to a place that will show the same compassion as you do for your pet. Then come here. Thank you to Gourley's nurses and vets for the great work!

Ive recently adopted a new fur baby I wanted her checked out with people I could trust. Gourleys veterinary surgery is the only vets I will use in east Manchester. My mum used gourleys for at least 20 years i can honestly say Everyone who works there is super friendly, caring, compassionate and professional. They often go above and beyond to help. I'd recommend there services to anyone.
Unfortunately we have lost both of our dogs this year which is of course a very upsetting situation for our family. On both occasions we have dealt with Gourleys and I have to say that have been absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, compassionate and professional. In the last case we had to have our beautiful boy put to sleep but the vet and all of the staff were just amazing in helping us to get through this and most importantly taking care of our dog with the utmost respect and care. We will be getting a new dog when the time is right and quite honestly I wouldn’t go anywhere else to look after them. Thank you from my family and I.
On Monday 8.2.21 A member of Gourleys staff attempted to transfer a cat called Cookie to another travel box, OUTSIDE the surgery. Cookie escaped. There was no help or support given to Cookies distraught owner. Luckily help was on hand. Gourleys refused to offer any gesture of contrition as a sincere apology, it was suggested they offered a neuter free of further cost, they turned this down. On the day 150 had been paid for the cats treatment, but the owner went home distraught & without her cat. My questions about staff safety training were ignored, the owner was offered a free micro chip as an apology. Sorry thats poor & shoddy & very unprofessional service. Lou Frank Pet Rescue Manchester
Highly recommended a fantastic practice , Prompt and professional in this Very ! trying time I needed my cat neutered ASAP Got an appointment the very next day they shown care, time and affection towards my boy Achilles . Kept me updated he had his op and was up and about being his mischievous self lol Thank you to all the team who cared for him your truelly awesome
