Very much like alver valley with no dogs running around. Very peaceful and a lovely walk down bluebell Grove in April. Bird hides for photographers and plenty of places to sit and be in the moment

Wonderful place! For this price it's absolutely worth it. I felt like I was in 17th century.

What an amazing place to visit, especially if you love history. Authentic 17th Century houses, trades and food. Very knowledgeable folk who speak the 'old' language. The more questions you ask, the better your experience will be.
