I visited here after developing a red rash on my leg after being bitten by a tick. I couldn't see a Dr as it was the weekend. But I thought I should have it checked out as it could be Lyme's disease. I arrived and the receptionist asked me why I was there. I told her and she told me that I didn't have Lyme's. (without seeing the rash) also, why would a receptionist give medical advice? Anyway, I then managed to see someone who was more qualified and was told that it definitely wasn't Lyme's and it is unlikely to be if I \haven't been to the New Forest\.?! As apparently ticks that harbour the disease only live there.. Anyway, I still had concerns as the rash didn't go and just got larger. So I went to the Dr and they confirmed that it was Lyme's. So am now on antibiotics..
