Visited Gordon & MacPhail while staying in Inverness on a trip with my fiancé. Sharing the same last name as one of the founders, it was a must-see! The selection is incredible, and we were helped by a lovely employee named Sarah. As we were looking for a gift, she guided us through an informal tasting of whiskies in the Discovery range. Pictured is the Ledaig, which is peat smoked and has a beautiful, intense smokey taste up front, which finishes very smoothly. The shop is about a 50 minute drive from Inverness. If you're looking for a unique gift to bring home, I'd highly recommend visiting this shop. Additionally, the Glenfiddich distillery is only another 25 minutes south if you're looking to work that into your trip as well!
Amazing experience shopping here with the team here. Visited from out of country and experienced some great service. Samples some of the finest Whisky as I tried to select some great items for my collection to bring home. Staff here were very pleasant and helpful. Got some of the best whisky here to bring home with me.

A must visit store for whisky and other gourmet shopping. They have some good advice for whisky however you need to be careful with pricing not always competitive. I would go for their bottling as you don’t get many other places.
