Very nice historical place to visit. Pity the church got damaged during the last earth quake. The iPad guide is very useful and well done as it is also usable for younger visitors. I would recommend visiting the abbey in two years again as the lavender fields are just freshly seeded and then they will develop their full magic and beauty.

Very pretty landscape and view. We missed the lavender season (mid June - mid July) thus could not enjoy the beautiful sight of lavender fields in front of the abbey. Nonetheless the visit of the abbey is very interesting and the shop is also worth a trip, as you can buy local produces including lavender.

Nice to see the white church with the lavender fields in front of it. A bit overrated and sets quite high expectations. Its a nice to see but okay not to if you don't have time. If you drive further following the road, the lavender fields are much nicer if that's what you would like to see.

Not only are the virtual guides incredibly successful in conveying an immersive impression of monastic life in the abbey now and in the past, they also minimize technical modifications to the interior. I we impressed by this truly useful combination of ancient and new. Guided tours are also available, at least in French. I don't know about other languages. The staff are friendly and helpful. Fees are adequate and even the boutique prices with souvenirs and lavender products are not overpriced. The lavender fields are fragrant and vibrant during the right time of year, but it is not allowed to enter them or use drones nearby.

Simply beautiful, and such a peaceful place. We had a roam around the gardens but didn't go into the monastery, except for the boutique which is worth a nose around for some lavender gifts and spectacular post cards! We knew we'd be too late for the lavender (check when they harvest before you visit, usually July) but we were still taken aback by it's magnificence!

Peaceful experience well presented with high tech history information which shows the life of the abbey over the centuries.

Beautiful Cathedral in goardes region of France, the church sits uniquely and isolated from the main city and is known for its Jasmine plantation. Unfortunately for us, we just about missed on seeing the plantation due to harvest season. One of the most famous place fearured on postcard images.

Very touristy place, which is currently being renovated, that's why the abby is closed currently. Also it has a huge parking place right in front (for free), there's absolutely no need to park on the side of the road, as many do. You can see the lavender fields and visit their shop where you can buy lots of stuff related to lavender, from soap to cookies, or books. Very commercial though.
