It was quiet the day we went but staff friendly. Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. That was enough for two people and I had difficulty finishing it (it was so nice that I truly did my best!). Would go back again if in the area.

Really great friendly staff. Its busy but they still take the time to know who you are.
This is our favourite (not so local) local! The bubbly, friendly staff always have a smile. Pete and Daz have really made The George and Dragon a place that you want to come back to (again and again). I would absolutely recommend the Sunday carvery (it gets busy so make sure you book) and the normal menu is amazing too! Throw in a pint, and what more could you ask for!!
Nice stopover. Really warm welcome by Peter. Lovely staff. Beer was good. Food was ok.
Food was cold, service slow. Potions terrible, very disappointed.
