I've visited Goodson Lodge pre Covid several times, and I know some of the staff personally. The facilities and the care shown by every member of the staff team to residents are the best I've seen. I've had relatives in other care homes in the south west and south east England, and I can honestly say that if I had to choose for myself, it would be Goodson Lodge - it's a very special place.

The staff and facilities are excellent. It has a wonderful relaxed feel with a layout that makes it feel like a domestic home, rather than a facility. There are regular activities to engage the residents, should they wish to get involved. My mother quickly settled there and is so much happier than I could have hoped for. It truly is a 'care' home.
Absolutely amazing place. This care centre is definitely a must to go and see. 2 floors. 4 separate households. Carers are amazing. The home is beautifully laid out. 64 bed. Garden lounge, hairdressers, shop opening soon, cinema and plenty of activities going on. Plenty of windows to make it bright, light and airy. Never a dull moment in this home. Plenty of music, singing and of course day trips out. Please ring and book for a show round.
