A decent pub in Broadstone. Wasn’t very busy when I went due to COVID rules. Definitely a pub for the older generations and not teens. It’s the local in Broadstone for adults and it provides a good atmosphere for that. Food was very nice however having the burger, there should’ve been some sauce in the burger!! However was tasty. Added extras for the burger are also priced very high at 1 per extra! However I treated myself! Table was also very sticky but didn’t really bother me!!! Thanks for my meal

Very pleasant and welcoming staff. Their covid plan felt robust and we felt very safe and comfortable. Only had stopped in for a drink after walking the dog (they're dog friendly, bonus!) but the food smelt and looked amazing so will definitely be back to try that at some point.
Popped in on a Friday evening with the dogs for a drink and bite to eat. Greeted at the door and shown to an outside table, order taken and drinks served. The whole time we were there the service was outstanding!!Obviously pubs have to run a bit differently at present and they have got such a good system in place without it taking the enjoyment out of being in a pub environment. Staff we all so lovely and the food was great.
Very disappointed . Visited the Goods Yard for an anniversary meal, we had been before so expected a nice evening out. However things have changed and not for the better. We ordered our drinks and looked at the menu and it was very basic and very expensive , 24.50 for an 8 oz sirloin steak. More than happy to pay that sort of money for a Rib-eye steak or something similar but felt this was excessive. Although the pub was not busy, we waited nearly half an hour for somebody to take our food order. The staff were far too busy talking amongst themselves at the bar to bother with us! After 25 minutes we gave up waiting and left. The bar bill for a glass of wine and a beer was 13.85 which again is excessive. We went up the road to the Willet Arms and had a really lovely meal in a nice setting with extremely attentive staff. I would add that I paid 22.95 for a 10 oz Rib-eye steak which was beautifully cooked . A much nicer glass of wine and a beer came in at 10.70 So to conclude this review, very poor service with a very basic and overpriced menu, we certainly wont be going back and would not recommend it to anyone. If I could I wouldn't give them any stars.
This pub is a great place to eat, the service is really good and the food is great. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with shabby sheek decor that plays on the fact that it used to be an integral part of the old railway station. It's all done to a nice taste. There is free parking available and an outdoor seating area for when it's sunny.
