Looking for a farm to table restaurant in Milwaukee? This gem is worth the trip outside the downtown area. The fried nori is the best! Enjoyed our dinner, all dishes coming out of the kitchen looked amazing!

Very enjoyable brunch. Some excellent options and a menu that changes frequently. The pizza eggs was a cool idea that worked.
Awesome food. Ordered brussel sprout salad, latkes, and rotisserie chicken. Rotisserie and brussel salad was excellent. Won't order the latkes again though. Amount and taste wasn't worth the price.
We were just off a commute across the waters to Wisconsin and thought we would enjoy trying some local cuisine. After conducting a bit of research, and being right in the area, we found this gem of a place to eat. It was a true pleasure to experience this dining in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood, near the shores of Lake Michigan. As their website says, “Goodkind is the new epoch in a long, rich history!” Being mid-day, we found two spots open at the bar. The staff was super friendly and we were thankful to have followed their recommendations, as well as the couple sitting next to us. Our orders came quickly and were so visually appealing. Being someone who loves herbs and fresh vegetables, the food was above our expectations. The restaurant blends old-world dining concepts and creates an excellent menu of the old and the new custom entrees. Located inside a residential area with a mix of shopping experiences, Goodkind sat on the corner with diners chatting outside on a small but happy eating out-doors space. Most everyone seemed to be enjoying a house-made cocktail. The Tickety-Boo with Grapefruit flavors was amazing. Piles of tempting-looking plates of pasta were coming out of the kitchen and tables near us – obviously a favorite. But I was thankful that I had already ordered the local veggies and mixed seafood soup. The oysters had simmered in a broth that thrilled us with flavor. The place was busy; we recommend that you plan ahead as it seems that the local community highly favors this place and seating is limited. We only wish it wasn’t so far from the Twin Cities or we’d frequent it more often.
An American restaurant with a wide variety of drinks. I appreciate the fact that they get some quality ingredients from local vendors. The service is good. She was present when we needed her. But it's quite pricy for the food you get. Most upscale places I've been which the price of main dishes are above 20 offer some unique taste and combination of flavors. But this one falls short on that. The half chicken I ordered was just a roasted chicken. No vegetables or marination to give the meat some flavor.
