Peace & tranquility in this beautiful garden. We visited here on a Friday (hottest day of the year) for somewhere to sit out of the sun and relax. Lots of garden to explore and places to sit and relax in or out of the sun. The facilities were great and just what we needed after our failed day out at the coast. Dogs are welcome and our Roxy even found a place to paddle and grab a drink fro the chalk stream. Lots of birds and butterflies to observe and plenty of flowers and trees

Amazing place that two people with dedication and love were able to create for everyone to enjoy. Every little corner shows their appreciation of nature. It’s a great example of gardening design on a small scale, full of many peaceful and relaxing spots to have a picnic or just contemplate. Dogs are welcomed with well behaved “humans on a lead”.

Such a beautiful, tranquil place to walk around! We went with my children & their grandparents & everyone enjoyed themselves (ages from 9 years to 71 years) with all the beautiful bridges, waterfalls & summer houses we felt like we were in an old novel! Social distancing worked well for covid-19 it was lovely to finally escape outdoors with the children & we definitely picked the right place & will revisit again! It was very hot on our visit but lots of shady spots to rest & we all enjoyed a tub of ice cream! Staff & family of the Knights couple who started the gardens, were all lovely to talk to and gave us lots of information on the gardens! It really is a Norfolk gem & definitely recommend visiting! Thank you for such a wonderful day!

We had a very enjoyable visit to Gooderstone, just a few miles from the National Trust site at Oxburgh Hall. Unlike Oxburgh, you don’t need to pre-book. Modest entrance fee, very good value. We passed a peaceful few hours in the sunshine and will return again. The tea room was open for takeaways. Highly recommended.

What a beautifully worked garden, there has been a one way system marked out on the narrower pathways so nobody has to back into a bush to let others past. It is so peaceful you can sit and unwind in any number of seats and a multitude of different views of ponds trees or flowers, just take your choice (Nearly wrote pick, but that wouldn't be right) We spent a beautiful afternoon wandering around.
