Without doubt the worst Chinese I’ve ever had!! First they’re late, then I find it’s half the wrong order, then comes the dogsh17 food quality.... Called the restaurant and they couldn’t have been ruder or less helpful... Utterly disgusted

Been using Good Chef since it opened. Food is not amazing but generally reasonable. As a regular customer who has used it on a weekly basis I won’t be using it any more. Had wrong order twice and when we told them they insisted It wasn’t. After four years we weren’t going to lie, were we? I said they could owe us two main dishes, no sides for next time. Two weeks later we ordered and reminded them of the outstanding refund. They told us that we had ordered two main steak dishes so it was repaid. Never having ordered steak from there, it was a blatant lie. They knew who they were talking to as we live very close by. If that’s good customer relations they can keep it. As I said food’s not wonderful, I will only eat two dishes from there, however it was convenient. Never mind I’m not desperate for Chinese food especially from crooked ones.
First time ordering from here and I have to say the food is amazing! We normally try somewhere new every time when we order Chinese food and we've tried loads in the Newcastle area... this place is in my top 3. Great quality meat, big king prawns and great amount of batter. Highly recommend the Honey Chilli dish.
