Pleasant cafe with range of cakes and got & cold food & drinks. Serves classic cafe food like sandwiches with some special menu options; when we visited they were offering butterfly prawns as well as special milkshakes. Comfortable interior with pleasant views over the riverside common ground. Friendly staff.
Have to say that the service is terrible here. Just walked out due to having waited 10 minutes with no service and the place only had 1 customer already served. The staff knew I was there as I spoke to her on entering and asked if I had to take a seat. She said take a seat and someone would then come to me. Well nobody came as they were too busy chatting amongst themselves. Needless to say I wont be back.
Exceptionally rude staff! making up prices because when you want to pay separately they cant split it and charge you more! Woman was extremely rude who seemed to be the manager!
Very friendly staff, good selection of good, excellent coffee not overpriced outside seating overlooking the Meadows, would recommend.
