We weren't expecting to sit in the marquee after requesting the bar area in the reservation, but the friendly staff reassured us that the area was warm (which it was) and sat us next to a heater. The ales on tap were tasty (I had Hip Hop) and the food very good. Most of us had the Sunday roast and I will be coming back for this again. There was a live jazz band playing and they added to the atmosphere. Recommended venue for a Sunday with plenty of places nearby to walk the big meal off. Dog friendly in the marquee too.

Went there for my first meal out since lockdown. The place was spotless! We sat in the huge marquee well away from other diners. Meal was delicious and even better as I didn't have to prepare it or wash up. Then, completely unexpectedly, a jazz band played. Brilliant!
So happy to see live music again, any other circumstances I would have been leaping! As the driver I was a bit surprised the oj and soda was nearly the price of a beer though, all in all a great night.
