Have been frequenting for 4 years namely due to large number of sports screens and proximity. Year after year the poor level of service and ignorant staff have never fails to amaze me - must be part of the application process. Last Saturday was no different when my round of drinks got cancelled and refunded because I had finished chewing my food so was no longer having a substantial meal - even though I had just eaten one. Joke.

Less food than a Happy Meal for four times the price. Not at all happy. \Chunky chicken burger\ was ordered with \chunky chips\. Air con was nice though.
I would say that the staff don't like to help customers at all. It felt like when I explained to the girl behind the bar that I did not receive the drink that I paid for, it felt to me that I was an inconvenience to them. I would prefer to go somewhere else rather than this pub!! Very strict with COVID19 rules (not complaining about that) but what I don't like is they just expect you to know how the rules work when every pub is different.
First trip back to a pub since lockdown was lifted. Nice to see the makeover, definitely an improvement to the dingy decor that used to be present.Greeted at the door by a polite member of staff, took our details incase of a covid problem. Shown to our table next to tv for football and had the ordering system explained to us about the app. Sat down and ordered drinks and food, arrived shortly after. Lovely and clean and tidy. Will be back
The local pub in Chelmsford I use for watching football games. I go on some occasions to watch football games , Premier league and international football games like the World Cup , I have also been once for a pop quiz night which they host regularly and once attended a live performance. Nice place with pleasant staff , I tried once their food and it was nice , I ordered scampi with Chips and peas , and I had a friend so we used the 2 for 10 pounds offer , so very reasonably priced.
