Great service and excellent food at a good price with good portions. Me and my best friend go all the time. Would recommend to anyone who wants high quality fish and chips that are all British.

We are locals here in Greenwich and have been using the golden chippy for many years, with reasonable, honest service and decent fish and chips. Tonight we ordered and were told our food would be ready in 20 minutes. Had to wait 50 minutes for a mediocre fish and chips (most notable was the over salted, over battered chips). In addition to this was the atrociously rude and impersonal service. Other customers were told that they would cancel their order and had to wait up to an hour - whilst deliveroo and just eat drivers were served in minutes. This was honestly disappointing and we will not be returning. I do not recommend this business, find another chippy!
My family has gone to the chippy for a while but when we went today was very disappointed. I had to wait for 45 minutes and there were people that were still waiting when I left. If you couldn’t wait they would cancel your order. We have been locals for 14 years and to be treated this way whist just trying to support a local business is horrible. The quality of the food had changed as well, things were burnt and toppings were overdone. It is a pity that we won’t go to the chippy again because it’s fish and chips used to be very good.
The best fish&chips I had ever eaten in London. The restaurant is located quite far away from the city center but it's worth to go there and try amazing and delicious fish. Nice and helpful staff.
This place was great! We were visiting London and stayed at a nearby hotel. The owner was very friendly, and so were the employees. We ate outside, and we really felt the \local\ touch of being in London. Food was also great! Best fish and chips ever tasted :)
