I have been going to this Chinese take away since I was a child 30 years ago, but the current owners are the best. I think they have had it for 15 or so years, and tonight was my first take away from there for a long time only because I haven't been in the area. The food was really good and the staff were really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Never disappointed with our take away, the Duck, chips and chicken wings are sooo yummy! Always on time, delivery driver is always friendly and covid safe. As well as the food being so delicious and value for money! 5 star all round!
This Golden Chef deserves a Michelin star - simply divine from start to finish
Lonsdale chippy is the best.in the port.
No food hygiene rating on show which tells me it's very low and they make you wait a long time even if you are the only customer in the shop, the reason for this is because they are too busy dealing with home delivery orders to even notice. To top it off they are quite ignorant and abrupt. The shop is also filthy.
