We were in Edinburgh yesterday and typed in the best fish and chips and The Golden Bite came up so we decided to make the 10 minute drive to give it a try and omg it didn't disappoint, not only was the food delicious but the customer service was second to none. The family are so friendly and welcoming and I would recommend if you are in the area you pay them a visit. We certainly will be back. Thank you

Lovely chip shop. Very friendly staff, quick service, and good value. They added napkins and forks without prompting, which was great. Perfect for grabbing a takeaway and sitting out by Portobello Beach.
