Godfreys is a lovely garden centre i got a bonsai tree from there, for myself and later returned again for another two family members. All the staff are lovely especially a lovely lady called jude, who helped and gave me all the information I needed including how to look after my bonsai tree, feeding them and whats best in general. Highly recommended!! Will be returning there again no doubt very soon!!

Absolutely love this quaint little tea room
One of the best garden centres I've been to. Smaller than most and little more expensive but all the plants are sizable and very healthy and well taken care of. The staff are really friendly and always happy to help.
Great selection of good quality plants , bit expensive but worth it. But & it was quite a BIG but the staff,well dark haired woman who wasn't friendly at all so no name given, was really rude borderline openly hostile. Although couldn't help noticing she was very friendly and happy with tradesmen. Got the impression that the general public were a real inconvenience. Quite rude to my friend when serving at till even though my friend spent quite a lot. She didn't even manage a word . Not someone you would ask advice of. Shame because it a really good centre. Should also say this doesn't apply to the Bonsai centre or the cafe who staff were brilliant and made the visit worth while after all.
