It was a lovely day and a lovely setting. Food was reasonably priced and staff friendly with excellent social distancing, and hygiene. The chips that came with the meals were white and limp and no one came out for a table check. The other food was OK though the bacon salty and sausages burnt. The salt cellar that came out with the meal was full of rice. Maybe they put the rice in to help keep the salt dry. There just wasn't any salt in it. It was below average. The flowering baskets were beautiful though.

This is restaurant only review. Could not fault the place Simon who runs it is the perfect host nothing to much trouble food was good large portions at reasonable prices . Under covid situation we have never felt safer outside of home. Keep it up you will go a long way. If you want review on hotel it would have to be separate

I have only started visiting here for the last 2 months or so and I absolutely love it here! The staff are always so haopy to see you and are really friendly! It's so relaxing sitting outside near the lake and watching the world go by! I now come here atleast once a week! My new favourite place! Thanks All!

Called in here for tea tonight after picking my daughter up from college before heading back to Yorkshire. Very clean, staff and locals were very friendly. Steak meal was top class,, thank you we'll definately call again.
