Not always easy to get an appointment with the doctor I really like but in an emergency there is always someone who can see me that day. The doctor I am registered with is so kind and caring with a wicked sense of humour! Even when I am feeling dreadful she can make me laugh.

Doctors are amazing at this surgery however the same cant be said about one older receptionist who my mother spoke to over the phone. She tried to self diagnose me however after being seen by the doctor she would have been completely wrong! She was very rude and has been each time we've had her on the phone, she also rudely hung up on us after having an attitude and wasnt going to give us an appointment as she knew best. I understand they have to ask questions for sign posing appointments however this isn't the first time shes been like this. Other than this the staff are really nice and friendly, especially the younger girls in reception as they always put people first!

Difficult to get seen nowadays as local surgery has closed down. Complete waste of time when you do. Mainly locums. One hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing. Lost notes. Not following hospital's advice. Wrong medicine. Need I go on. Hopeless. Only gave a star because I had to.

I have been with Cheltenham Rd surgery since early 1970s, marriage and children. My family has been well looked after throughout our children’s birth, illnesses, hospital admissions at various times; and now into advancing age and the conditions that accompany it. We have watched this surgery grow, and up to the present have never had any reason to complain.

I've been using this surgery since the late 70s and it has slowly gotten worse over the years. Almost impossible to see any kind of practitioner, let alone someone you know. Getting past the horried, officious receptionists will be your first abhorrent challenge though. If you are stressed, anxious or have a heart condition, I suggest you ask someone else to phone to get you an appointment because dealing with that will not help your condition, I can assure you.
