So, I have been meaning to write this review for a while, but simply 5 stars. I have recently bought a new guitar there and I thought I should comment on the positives about the shop, Everything is sorted into different categories so it’s easier to find things and everything is displayed beautifully, all of the instruments are set up well - at least to my preference (low action), everyone in there is really happy and smiley which just adds to the experience, Richard (The new owner) is knowledgable and likes to help customers by approaching those who seem to be looking at an instrument and asks if they would like to play the instrument etc. All in all - the sound house under it’s new ownership is a completely different shop, which is a shame it keeps the same reviews from the old shop.

This shop is remarkable. It is full of guitars ,drums and every other musical instrument. The staff are incredibly friendly ,knowledgeable and helpful. This is the very kind of business worth supporting and which offers so much more than the internet alone can ever do. Anyone visiting for the first time is assured of a great experience.

A friendly welcome and lots of great advice. For musical instruments and kit, it's so much better to buy in-store and enjoy the personal touch and useful tips. You miss a lot by buying everything online! Got a great children's guitar, and got my old guitar and tuned up and serviced, and they have lots of nifty accessories and music books too. Be sure to drop in!
