Called in for a takeaway and the food was lovely. Highly recommend the curry prawns - delicious. It was all even better than expected and we'll definitely go again. Friendly service too. ️

Very tasty Caribbean food. I could recommend the Jerk chicken and fried chicken, comes with rice & peas and steamed veg. The food is not too greasy and is good value for money.
I’m from east London where we have a wide selection of Caribbean restaurants and while we where staying in Cheltenham for a weekend there were only two choices of Caribbean restaurants, Turtle bay and Hot and spicy. Despite the lack of choice, we were fortunate enough to come across Hot and Spicy restaurant run by a local Caribbean woman called Lucia and her partner. We drove some nine miles to get there and was greeted by a warm reception and service with a smile. The food was cooked to a high standard and authentic in taste. We were also very satisfied with the portion sizes. We would highly recommend this Caribbean take away to others. One minor criticism is that we felt the website did not do this restaurant any justice. We expressed this to the proprietor who took this on board and seemed to want to look at improving the website. We would say to others do not be put off by the website, the food speaks for itself and was well worth the journey.

The food was amazing. Me and my partner had Ackee & Saltfish and two dumplings along with a beef patty superb! Would definitely attend HOT& SPICY again. Please check it out. It nice you see.
