Have done the trail since I was a little kid. But now having moved out of the area I brought my missus and daughter back to hit the trail. We got great pictures, had a lovely time with a picnic just beyond the woodshed tunnel and then followed the stream / river at the end up to the waterfall! Highly recommend this for bike rides, not too difficult and fantastic outdoor experience for all ages!

Great place for a walk and bike ride. Gets quite busy but if you like a flat'ish walk or ride then its ideal. Can be quite long so depends on how far you want to go take a flask n coat. Boots a must if wet. Limited parking and a couple of parking places you have to pay. 1:50 an hour which is a bit steep. Good place.

Hadfield Bike Hire brought our bikes right to the car park where the trail starts..and picked them up at the end, couldn't have been easier. We had the bikes for 4 hours, so we stopped a few times. We decided to check out the TPT that carries on after the tunnels. It turned out to be beyond our mountain biking ability, we pushed the bikes up most of the extra km or so, but it was worth it for the fantastic view., so we had a picnic up on the moors, then turned around and came back. Return journey downhill and definitely quicker.

Great cycle track. It's nice and flat but verry muddy in places.
