I had an authorization from my insurance to see him for a consultation. The front desk staff and the staff who weighed me told me that insurance would never cover me because of my low BMI and they turned me away but they never let me see the doctor for the consultation or to hear it from him-- because he is the professional not them. My insurance authorized covering the consultation. My primary care office told me that that is strange behavior and that my insurance had ok'd and authorized the evaluation visit. I should have seen the doctor and not had the other staff make a medical decision for me as the doctor himself needs to tell me and make the time to come out to me and say that. I mention this so you also watch out for this type of behavior if you go there for an evaluation.

Dr. Mutafyan is one of the best general sergeants in industry and Glendale area. We were hopeless when we went to him for my mother who was suffering from a big mass on her buttocks. Doctor did her surgery and her surgery was successful. He has amazing surgical skills and bed side manners. I highly recommend this doctor. I promise you will be in good hands.
