The visit was okay. The almost 3 wait will be crucial if not dressed appropriately, so bundle up. There are 2 fire pits near the line and 2 more as you start your journey into the forest. Maybe a heating machine or two should be placed in the line area when there are such large numbers. During your walk through the forest be sure to keep your distance from the groups ahead of you to ensure that you get the full effect.

We were so disappointed :(. We spent over 50 for two people (we did fast pass which you absolutely need or you will be in line for hours). This forest is the most expensive one in the whole area with the least amount to do. It was maybe a 15 minute walk through the forest, that was with us slowing down. We let people pass us who were right behind us and screaming so that we might have a chance to be scared. We did so and that group of kids in front of us got scared by the actors and so did the people behind us. We literally walked by actors who stood there and did absolutely nothing. We arrived at 9 pm so it wasn’t that late that they’d be over it. I want to be scared when I go to a forest and I paid 50 for a small hike in a forest at night. I’m leaving this review in the hopes the owners are able to turn up the scares / acting and props next year. Being one of the very few haunts in rva, we hope to come here year after year.
Kudos to the actors. They were on point. I brought my 8 year old son, who has been desensitized by horror to some degree, and he loved it. He doesn't scare easily but there were a few jump scares he really loved. Now he is hooked.
We went there today there’s multiple lines to get in first the line to the parking lot in your car, second the ticket line ether online or cash, last there’s the actual entrance to the trail. All of them are super long. You can buy a fast pass for 27 dolllrs instead of 17 dollars for the normal price I suggest you buy the fast one or you’ll be in the trail line longer than you’ll be on the actual trail itself. The trail is super muddy and puddles everywhere. There’s cool props and light but no like small tunnels or mazes to go in just one trail and it last like 15-20 minutes and the people don’t really scare you they just scream they don’t chase you or make scary noises. They definitely need to improve. I suggest going to Ashland berry farm it’s way better and worth the money. It’s 30 dollars for 4 trails/ mazes and each trail last like 30-45 minutes each. There’s a lot of people with chain saws and so many cooler props then scream forest. It’s not muddy or wet. Plus they got food and drinks there unlike here at scream farm they got shirts.
Very awesome! Great actors! Awesome setup!
