I had been to Glasshalffull prior to COVID but lately we're interested in \gourmet\ take-out - something that reproduces the in-person dining experience instead of just eating junk. It's usually met with disappointment so we avoid doing it at all. However, the three-course menu option at GHF is incredible...my husband got the brisket, paired with drop biscuits and dark chocolate budine for dessert. I initially ordered the dal but noted an onion allergy, and they immediately called me and worked through the ingredients, ultimately offering to make me an onion-free batch of the spring pea risotto. And let me tell you, the risotto was AMAZING. (I also got the biscuits, as well as a brownie for dessert). The to-go packaging was great, and all of the ingredients and instructions for reheating/plating were on each package. Everything was fresh and delicious, and because it wasn't just thrown into the same container and let to get cold and gross, it tasted as if it were served in the restaurant. They were accommodating, kind, patient, and the food was great. HIGHLY recommend making this your next take-out experience. Pair it with some wine and decent company, and you won't regret it!

Absolutely delicious with great service. Great for a special occasion. We got the asparagus and arugula salad for a starter and steak frites and duck for entrees. Enjoyed every bite of each dish. Mondays are half price bottles of wine. Would definitely recommend the outside dining area.

Great wine bar. Happened to make it for 1/2 price bottles of wine on Monday night. Excellent food and service. Great wine list.

We usually love this place. The blueberry cucumber salad was disappointing. It was just a bunch of greens with a few sliced cucumbers and some blueberries on top as an afterthought. Many of the blueberries were rotten. Nothing else wrong with it as a salad, but don't call something a blueberry and cucumber salad unless those things are prominent. Cornbread was ok. So was brisket. Blueberry crumble was superb!!! Their orange/vanilla cheesecake was inedible. One of the worst things we have tasted in a long long time. Both texture and taste were awful!

It is a hidden Carborro’s treasure of sort. They serve a delicious and sophisticated dishes and offer great wine selection. The staff is attentive, available and patient. The only drawback is that unlike selection of wines the menu is bit limited. If not for that fact this restaurant would deserve 5 stars. Hopefully, they will keep working on expanding their offers.
