First time patient at Glass, and I have to say I wish I’d started going here earlier. Very professional and friendly, and they are very careful to take all safety precautions for COVID. Definitely will be making this my go-to eye doctor!

Just moved to Dallas. I had a pair of Mykita frames that got bent out of place and called in because they were an authorized retailer... They offered to bend the frames back to place and even gave me some temple tips to replace my old ones.. Had a chance to look at other frames in the store and I must say they offer a great selection of quality brands. Alena was very professional and nice she took her time looking into what to do for my frames and replacing the tips. Javier was nice as well and did a great job fixing my frames and replacing the tips. Absolutely nice staff, professional, the shop looked incredible on the inside. I walked out of the store with like-new Mykita frames and a scheduled optometrist appointment.
Many years ago, the band Redbone had one massive hit called, Come and get your love. Pretty epic because it was literally about having so much love, all you had to do is come and get it. What's this got to do with Glass Optical, a neighbor eye glass store? Everything. Because from the minute you open those elongated, narrow glass doors and step onto the chic, wide-panked floors and look up at the tin-pressed ceilings, you've crossed into another world where eyes are the thing. The shop looks more like it should be in the Marais in Paris than West Davis Street in Oak Cliff. The carefully curated selection of eye wear rivals bespoke shops in San Francisco or the West Village. But it's the Doctor who settles you into the realization that your eyes are all that matter in the galaxy. He cares. It shows. And by the time you are done with the exam, you don't want to leave. You don't actually have to, there is a gorgeous plush sofa you can hang out in and admire the eyeglasses or the ambiance. So yea, that song Come and get your love, might as well be playing at Glass Optical when you walk in.
LET ME TELL YOU! I went in and out so fast I couldn't believe it! DR. McDaniel did an AMAZING job! He was very patient when answering all my questions and concerns. He took his time briefly, and made sure I was comfortable. Customer service was ! Derek & the lady (I forgot her name!) are just AWESOME! They Helped me pick out some DITA frames and OMG!! I LOVE THEM!! Hope your experience is as good as mine!
Zero wait, thorough exam, helpful and patient in finding some new frames. Nice folks all around.
