Used VK Timber since 2018, 8 separate orders so far. Each time the service has been excellent (even when the mistake were on my end) Prices have been fair, delivery on time and advised by a call from the driver is there were any holdups. The wood quality has been excellent, dressed pieces were nice and clean and most importantly straight. Will continue to use again, pretty solid group.

I buy a lot of timber for the work I do but this was my first order with VK. Firstly you do not get an invoice, order confirmation, or anything else except a worldpay receipt. No contact whatsoever in 10 days until they phone to give you a delivery day, which they then ignored and turned up on a different day. All of the wood was damaged or poor quality. I ordered dressed timber for building cabinets but this would not be fit for putting up a fence. All wood was cupped, cracked, missing knots, dented and stained with finger and boot prints. The thin lengths were like hockey sticks. I ordered fence panels which came with sharp nail tips poking through everywhere just ready to take an eye out. I didn't get a delivery note so I can't even check to see everything is there. I tried calling many times, no answer. I emailed, once politely and then again firmly, but no response. I think they are using lockdown as an excuse to dump their reject timber on small customers and hiding behind covid 19 when it doesnt work. AVOID!

Excellent service. Ordered decking boards and were delivered the next day. I placed another order with them for more decking boards and fence panels but asked for it to be delivered in 3 weeks time, phoned them this morning to double check it was getting delivered today and the guy asked if it was myself and the stuff was being delivered today. Would highly recommend!
