It is hands down the most authentic Japanese restaurant I’ve been to. The sushi was super fresh and the ramen is absolutely delicious. Will return!

2nd time here and always some of the best quality sashimi we've had. Being an izikaya, definitely has great tasting small dishes, of course this allows us to get so much to try in one sitting. Don't discount the large entrees either. Definitely a place we will always come back to over and over again.
It just seems authentic. I've never been to Japan, so I cannot say for sure. This place is pretty distinct compared to other sushi joints in the city. I didn't enjoy everything I tried and that's fine because I can tell it wasn't \Americanized\ to anticipate my palate preferences. The food I DID enjoy was delicious.
Everything was pretty flavorless. Except for the plum wine. That was good.
One of my go to spots for authentic Izakaya type dining. The quality is excellent and there's a wide variety of food to choose from. A few of my favorites are the tako wasabi, chicken gizzards, gyoza, and of course their FRESH SUSHI AND SASHIMI! Super fresh, high quality, melt in your mouth flavor!! The ambiance is pretty cool, lots of old school Japanese decor and posters. A good spot for friends or a date! The space is a bit smaller, plus with Covid restrictions. Be patient when it is busier :)
