Big disappointment, food was below average definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Staff are attentive, but don’t really have much knowledge about dishes. Overall experience wasn’t great as we weren’t made feel welcomed. Also the menu seemed a little overpriced, definitely not an authentic Indian because they don’t seem to know how certain dishes supposed to be prepared.

Our favourite Indian, great staff, lovely food and all at a good price too. Didn't get photos of everything we were too busy eating. The whole meal (apart from deserts as too full) with drinks was around 85.
Love this place. Been here a number of times now. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service. Poppadoms and drinks ordered. The Condiments that come with poppadoms were the standard, but they have this coconut condiment which is amazing. Normally I order a chefs special three way starter, instead went for the paneer bites. Thinking it would cubes of paneer, I was slightly disappointed. I'll take it on t he chin though, should have read the description. Ordered a chicken tikka biryani, asked it to be extra spicy, loved every bit of it. I've tried many other Indians, but Ginger Spice has to be high up there as one of the best.
Not sure if it was to do with lockdown or new chefs, but these days the quality is not the same as it used to be. We used to eat in and order takeaway every week from Ginger spice, food was good before.. The last 3 or 4 times have been disappointing. Some of the staff are nice guys (the manager is always miserable doesn't even want to make eye contact).. The food is not good any more, Dry bajji's, stale tasting popadoms, watered down mint sauce just to name a few. seems like a lack of love goes in to the food now or they're just making cutbacks? Looking for a new Indian place to dine now, Ginger spice also overcharges.
This is by far the worse Indian restaurant I have dined at. The food was below average and over priced. The service was bit lousy and the whole ambience was rather gloomy. Didn’t like it at all absolutely appalled. Wouldn’t recommend it. We ordered prawn puri for starters that didn't have any flavour and not enough prawns mostly sauteed onions. Secondly the food we ordered when it was presented it didn't really match the description on the menu.
