Our daughter bought us an afternoon tea voucher last October but because of Covid we have been unable to go in to the cafe to use it. Instead, we were able to transfer the voucher to get items from the take away menu and everything we chose was absolutely delicious. The scones for the cream tea were baked that morning and were the best we have ever had. The customer service has been really good too- very friendly and efficient. Such a shame that we didn't get the experience our daughter bought for us but we will definitely go for an afternoon tea when things return to 'normal '. Thank you very much- highly recommended.

Super friendly staff, had a short wait for a table (arrived just before 12). There's a great selection of food and drink, I was really impressed with their selection of teas. Our food and drinks arrived quickly (drinks first) despite being seemingly busy inside. I had a gunpowder green tea and a crumpet stack and it was absolutely delicious. Just enough food for me to have room for one of their amazing melt in the mouth chocolate brownies. Highly recommended!

Just had a bacon egg sandwich it was horriable smoked bacon on brown bread wont be going there again and 33 quid for 4 sandwiches disgusting

Absolutely shocking... ordered the strongman’s breakfast that never came after 25 minutes! my friends food had come and they had eaten it. So I kindly said don’t worry about it I’ll just take my money back. Hardly got an apology. And didn’t even feel the need to give my the coffee I paid for on the house. Very disappointed won’t be returning. The owner is extremely rude. And seating isn’t 2 meters in this pandemic so I’ll be taking this further.

Had a great afternoon tea here with a group of friends, lovely tea shop. Service was excellent and generous servings of sandwiches and cakes. Worth a visit
