A huge thank you Gilmore vets, we moved away and have been at a different vets for a year. I wanted a second opinion on our dogs condition. Gilmore booked us in quickly, and we had a really helpful appointment with Jonathon (who was amazing) outside on the car park, socially distanced and safe. They have managed to provide a great service despite the challenges of Covid. Jonathon managed to change a potentially distressing situation into a positive experience and I am so glad we came to see him. We both really appreciated the time and care he took to advise us on the later stages of our dogs life. Thank you so much again. We are so glad we came to you.
Very caring and welcoming practice with a lovely, professional, compassionate and knowledgeable team. Super cat friendly handling techniques make the visits more tolerable for my cats who in the wrong hands (and sometimes the right hands) can be rather feisty.
Like most vets that have multiple vets practicing, your experience may well depend on the vet you see, but Potts is an excellent vet and is very skilled, and also great at explaining things to us clearly and compassionately. The vets itself has first rate COVID precautions and has also introduced video appointments where possible.
Atilla, my American XL bully, she’s just over a year old and has been with Gilmore vets (Potts and her amazing team) since day dot, in this time she has undergone 2 major surgeries but lucky for us it’s been under the watchful, caring eye of Potts and her team the most recent surgery being a day ago, this most recent surgery Atilla had swallowed part of a kong toy which had caused a blockage in her intestines, and it’s been very uncertain times and very emotional as we didn’t know if we was going to loose her. Well words really can not describe how amazingly wonderful Potts and her team our, but I’ll try caring, understanding, sympathetic, professional, going the extra mile and some, they are literally life savers, I will be forever in their debt as they’ve saved my baby ️ they have worked round the clock, all hours to see her right. They are always pleasant and accommodating and make not just our Atilla feel safe and reassured but us too. Potts has been there for us first thing in the morning and even late in to the evening, the care and aftercare, and the affection towards your family member(pet) is unbelievable, we’re not out of the woods yet (Potts words) but under these guys I know there is no better place to be!!!!!! Thankyou so so much for everything you do, have done and continue to do ️ forever in your debt, Darren, Natalie, Clara, Atilla and Hades xxx
