We have not eaten in a restaurant since March and we’re quite hesitant but saw that this restaurant had outdoor seating and mask requirements so we decided to give it a try. First of all our server was absolutely wonderful. I did not ask her her name but so know she is from Colorado. Even though we were seated outside, she was quick to get to our order and attend to our needs during the meal. The food was also very delicious. Especially love the hush puppies and calamari. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a John's Island staple. The original Gilligan's and they haven't missed a beat. Great food and great service. The all you can oysters and the all you can eat shrimp are a wonderful deal
The seafood is some of the best in Charleston. Better than than the restaurants in downtown Charleston. Usually my first choice for cooked seafood.
Nope Decided to give it a try tonight and it was a fail. Wait staff was nice, but Hushpuppies were cold, ordered an appetizer of calamari.. it came out cold, chewy, and tasted like burnt oil. Immediately notified staff and manager that we will not be needing our food orders bc if the appetizer was that bad, I couldn’t see spending 60 or 70 on a full meal and being just as disappointed. They were understanding and apologized and we left. The atmosphere is cool with the fish tanks and beautiful paintings, but the food.. disappointing
I had an amazing time with my family catching up with them and the food was phenomenal as well the waiter!!!!
