Driving through Kilkhampton, we decided to stop off for a late supper as we'd been out all day. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they explained that they would take an order from me even though I hadn't phoned it through (which they prefer) as they cook all food to order. We ordered and was told it would be 15 minutes. Reality was, it was about 25/30 mins, waiting in the car then outside as they weren't ready at the time I was told to go back. Waiting aside, as well as the friendly welcome and service the food was cooked perfectly. Lovely sized portion of fish and chips, reasonably priced. The best part for me though, was the skinless fish, amazing!! The batter was light and crispy and not at all greasy. I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and would definitely go back for more. I'll just ring ahead next time

NOT Friendly staff fairly pricey very slow as everything is cooked to order.NEVER any commodity items in the warmer such as chips or fish or pies or sausages so if you're after a quick pitstop keep driving.the fish is.good quality. I have never paid so much for such a small credit sized empty pie. Ring ahead and you maybe ok. Most expensive rubbish chicken pie ever Curry sauce ..no idea... All a bit of a rip off AVOID
Last night of a weeks holiday so had to have fish and chips for tea. Rang my order through an hour before and 2x cod and chips were waiting on my arrival. Very friendly staff and best fish and chips we have eaten for a very long time. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you.
Fresh cooked battered food large piece of cod and large sausage with “small” chips which is good generous cornish portions friendly service. Phoned the order through based on other reviews they give you a time and fresh and hot on pick up. Deffo worth a trip to it. Finished off the holiday with a lovely meal would recommend
Great fish and chips! Lovely fresh cod with a nice crispy batter - Cornish sized portions too! Ordered in advance and collected with ease.
