This place hold so many memories this was my childhood vacation spot we love the great smoky mountains and this was a all day event to go here the gun show was amazing it's a shame that it's not open I wish it was!!

Visited here as a child and sad to see it abandoned. We stayed in Maggie valley this weekend, April 2019, and there does not appear to be any activity of construction or otherwise. There is a for sale sign out front, showings by appointment. Really hoping the rumors of this place being reopened are the though? Here are some updated photos. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Worked there as the head entertainer in Silver Dollar saloon, melodrama, and gunfights in 1984. Wonderful memories. So sad its closed click on my pix and see if u remember me lol
So sad that it is closed. Hoping one day it will be able to open back up. We just had to go by for a visit.

I came here every summer until I was 8 and my mother died ..I have always wanted to come back .now that we just moved here I have learned that this place is closed..it brings tears to my eyes knowing this once well known park is abandoned and it sucks...please can we reopen it back up for the world to see ...so many happy memories for so many families that will never be forgotten....
