Such a surreal experience. To stand where once our fellow citizens fought and murdered each other. The park is beautiful though and I look forward to visiting it again.

What a stunning work of history. As a homeschooling family our time in Gettysburg has been so educational. Instead of learning history in a text book, we have spent the weekend learning history in-person. What an awesome opportunity for a kid and adult alike!
Short, but steep hike up to the Union line monuments. Trails could stand to have more consistent structure- parts are dirt, some parts are paved, some have loose stones. The views are incredible with fall foliage.
Great place to visit in the battle fields for sure!!! They have informative plaques to tell you about it, and amazing monuments honoring all the soldiers and generals who fought there. This is a must see if you plan to visit!!
This was the first time I've ever been to Devil's Den. It has awesome views from the top. I liked how cool the rock formation is and how its easy to walk up to the top but it can be slippery when it rains. Once up at the top you get a 360 view . Will be visiting more often even though it's about an 2 hour drive from my house.
