Isabel has helped me last year to improve my German skills while in groups, individually and via Skype. The three methods are incredibly effective and results oriented. Her positive friendly and flexible approach to German teaching shows how Isabel enjoys her job. Despite being tired after a working day, she always finds a way for me to enjoy the class. I would recommend Isabel to learn German language and culture without hesitation.
Have been learning german now for over 3 months with Isabel over skype and enjoyed every lesson. To me German is quite difficult to grasp especially after a days work but isabel always finds a way to break it down and help me to fully understand. You can tell she really enjoys her job and that's why i would 100% recommend to anyone at any level of advanced or beginner
Izzy is a creative and patient teacher, ready to adapt and recap set deadlines so that you keep moving forward. I learn with my three children and her lessons always manage to incorporate our different skill levels.
We came to Isabel for German lessons to help with a client. Isabel is a great, friendly, flexible tutor with lots of support! Very accommodating to our schedule and lesson location. Has made the introduction to German and learning easy and fun.
I started learning German with Izzy in a group class before going to individual lessons when classes ended. Both experiences were very positive. Izzy Is a very enthusiastic and committed teacher who can adapt her teaching methods to personalised learning styles. I have learning disabilities (dyslexia and dyspraxia) and Izzy adapted her methods to suit those which helped my unique learning style. She is kind, patient and attentive. She also regularly develops new helpful materials to help all her students. I passed my Gothe Institute A1 exam in January with a score of 98%, for someone who always branded themselves as not able to learn languages this was a significant achievement, which I believe is attributable to Izzy’s help and support. I would not hesitate to recommend Izzy as a German teacher for groups or individuals.
Isabel is a brilliant teacher and would highly recommend her to any group or individual wishing to learning German. Initially the lessons were for our 10 year old son, this was due to the fact we had returned from living in Germany and it was a skill we didn't want him to forget. However due to the lessons being fun and structured in a way that it was engaging to him, it wasn't long before our 7 year old daughter also wanted to learn. So now both children are being taught and every week I am astounded with the amount they learn. Even with the age difference and the different ways both children learn, Isabel manages To have them both fully understanding the work they've done. Plus can truly say that the children look forward to the lesson every week even after a hard day at school.
