This place was just what I was looking for to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day dinner. The ambience in the restaurant is dark with beautiful designed bulb lights across the ceiling. The drink menu was interesting and the food menu was also interesting. I tried the Mr Roboto which had Japanese whiskey, sesame oil and something else- tasted like a very yummy margarita to me though with a sesame oil finish. It sounds weird but was tasty. Our server was great and he was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and even everything off the menu and offered to make anything we wanted. He recommended 2 dishes per person, each meant to be shared family style. We ordered 8 items... what stood out were the blackened carrots w/mole, pork ribs, yellowtail, grouper & the chocolate dessert. Everything was pretty tasty and paired well with the drinks. As a foodie, I have to say the food was not amazing but overall combine with ambience & drinks this place was great! Oh and to top it off they had live music from 9:30PM (we went Friday). Great date spot and we will definitely be back.

My daughter got married, Christmas Day, and I was looking for a good restaurant for the attendees. Her fiance handled all the details but that one. So with less than 24 hours I started calling restaurants. I heard, \Sorry. We're closed\ so many times. I did a Google search Restaurants in Austin oren on Christmas Day - Geraldine's was the top recommendation - now I know why. They were very accommodating of my last minute requests. I'm glad they still had space when I called on Christmas Eve (told you it was a last minute request) and when I had to push the time back Christmas Day. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The server was brand new, like today was her first day at work new. She was exceptional. Almost all the food was delicious; my omelet was runny. They took it off the bill with no problem. Favorite items were the hot biscuits, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit, and spicy fried chicken. We will definitely frequent this establishment again. Valet parking 10
If you're looking for great service and class, then definitely make reservations here. My waiter, Garry, was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about all the dishes and drinks. His recommendations along with his description of the dishes were spot on. Everything we tried was amazing. This is a place where you think the meat dishes are the stars, but noooo the vegetables are the vibe. They were all next level. I took my husband for his birthday and he's already requesting another date night here. Amazing place. You won't regret it.
Delightful brunch for son's birthday. Reservations were perfect. Service excellent. Food delicious. Cost some money, but for it paid for a great experience
We spent a wonderful night at Geraldine’s Austin! Starting with food: 1. Buttermilk Biscuits with honey butter - we’ll order again - they were warm and delicious and the butter was amazing . The biscuits themselves weren’t freshly baked but still good and worth ordering 2. Octopus - we may order again - my husband was more of a fan than me. The tandoori spices and cauliflower purée were amazing but the octopus itself was on the chewy side, not the best octopus I had in terms of texture 3. Pork ribs - we may order again - the first rib was dry but the rest were really moist and good. 3. Brussel sprouts- we’ll definitely order again - they were very flavorful 4. Grilled Quail - we’ll definitely order again - it was very tender and the coconut carry was amazing 5. Broccolini- we’ll definitely order again - it was light and lemony and delicious 6. Bread pudding- we’ll definitely order again - it was the tiniest bread pudding I ever had but it was warm and delicious Drinks: 1. Cause-Mopolitan - I may order again - it was light, not too sweet (which is what I prefer), but the strawberry and lemongrass flavors weren’t pronounced as much as I hoped 2. Beez in the trap - my husband may order again - drinks with Whiskey’s are my husband’s thing - the lemon smell was wonderful! It could’ve used a tad bit less honey 3. 78704 - we’ll definitely order again - my favorite drink, it was so light and refreshing and each flavor was pronounced and wonderful 4. Night in Bangkok - we’ll definitely order again; you could definitely taste the coconut, it was amazing!! 5. Extra dirty martini w/ kettle one - we’ll definitely order again - it was a tad saltier than I like but it still was really good 6. Mr. Roboto - we’ll not order again - it was the least favorite from all the drinks
