By far the best chippy in the area. We've been visiting for over 20 years even after we moved down south we always made sure to get a take away on our return visits. Now we have moved back north we regularly go there despite a 20 minute drive from our home. The service is first class, the place is spotless and the food is prepared superbly.

Hands down one of the best chip shop kebabs I’ve ever had.
Only moved to the area recently, and tried Georgio's twice. First time, everything was great, second time I ordered 2 mini fish specials, and was told if I would wait, they would cook two fresh. I waited and collected the order a few minutes later, but when I get them home, I found that one was freshly cooked, the other was just about warm, and obviously had been kept warm for some time. Disappointing, as I live too far away to go back, so we shared one portion......think I will try somewhere else in future.
Good but they are closed at times when people want a chippy EG after schools shut And they always run out of something
