A famous street of hawkers slowly moves off street into the courtyards of the houses. Mediocre has nowhere to go but stay here. The much talked about Hokkien Mee (RM6) is served in a spicy but weak prawn bisque, mainly due to the lack of pork bone, as she was busy shredding up stale roast pork for garnishings. The much loved cendol (RM4.50) while maintaining the sweetness of the palm sugar in santan use an artificial coloured green grass jelly, disappointedly not made from sago flour and mung beans. The Char Koay Teow uncle sits forlorn and disinterested, reminiscing of better days of yesteryear, while his feisty daughter fries up a plate with gusto, perhaps now finally taking on the main attraction for RM6.

One of the best hawker stalls in Georgetown area. The food sold there are tasty and delicious. Ordered oyster fried, toufu fried, satay, chicken chop and ice kacang. They are all tasty and delicious. The price is cheap and the taste is good. Worth for a visit if you want to try Penang food. The Hokkien Mee beside also worth for a try. Limited parking. Notes : Ice Kacang need to self-serve if in the 1st hawker stall, at least ordered one drink.

This little house converted food court is famous for fried oyster, hokkien mee and ice kacang. The stall by the roadside outside the food court selling wan tan mee is also nice. It is worth the visit if you are nearby here. It is not far from 1st Avenue and Komtar, and walkable distance from some nearby hotels like Neo, The Wembley-St Giles and Jens hotel. *Visited in Dec 2020

We found a roadside parking and walked to the hawker center. We ordered the famous 3888 fried oysters and “hokkien mee” (prawn noodle) and also “chendul” (green pandan rice flour jelly, coconut milk, palm sweet sugar syrup, shaved ice) Overall taste is awesome, however we hoped that the hawker center hygiene can be further improved

Not a huge selection but tons of hustle and bustle with locals. I thought the famous Hokien mee was more spice than flavour. The fried carrot cake was much better.

A place of hawkers food joints. We ordered oh chien which is fried oyster omelette from a stall. RM 12 for regular portion size. It tasted amazing and would come back again for more. The oyster size is plump and huge and fresh. Yummy.

Love the noodle here, I had all kinds of toppings to try and feel more than satisfied. The soup is cooked for hours and very very tasty! I will definitely come again and again and again!
