We stumbled upon this place whilst me and my daughter were out getting ‘lost’. It was delightful! The decor is gorgeous and the food/service were amazing! My little girl is a super fussy eater and even she loved it! I had the salad and added bacon and chicken to it. I was expecting little bits of cut up meat, but it was real full pieces of bacon and chicken breast, was happily surprised and very impressed. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be going again.

Nice country pub. Large outdoor seating area. Atmospheric, period indoor bar and restaurant. Had the Beef Sunday Roast. Very good quality ingredients. Portion was reasonable size but could have done with more of the fantastic roast potatoes (two small ones). Well kept beer. Good service. Worth a visit

First visit to George & Dragon. Pleasantly surprised, nicely refurbished with large beer garden and outdoor facilities. Very pleasant inside as well. Staff pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately in these day of Covid restriction the menu was greatly reduced what we did have was OK but for the price should be a bit more “gastro”. The chips were ordinary my guests complained. But we are in difficult times so a second visit will be called for especially to have another pint of their West Acre ale which was exceptional.

I've not eaten nor have I been here but with that being said I hear through the grape vine that the \georges and dragons\ offer excellent service and succulents food items. I may even have to visit. Well done \georges and dragons\.
