I love this hospital! The few times I been there the service is just superb. The staff, nurses and doctors are very professional and we'll matter. They make you feel comfortable plus they are so good with the kids. It doesn't feel like a hospital and the kids actually like going there.

The nurses are kind and help get you situated immediately. The rooms that they hold you in are very comfortable. There are drinks and snacks available for patients and whoever brought them in. I can not recommend this place enough! Whenever time is a top concern, come here! They'll see you immediately and great you effectively! Being seen quick and treated kindly is so important when you are in a lot of pain/not feeling well. Even if I didn't live in the area, I would still make the drive here!

Love love love this place, great doctors... all are very nice, I personally like Dr , hardworking patient guy. I would not want to have his job. It's tough to deal with crying kids and nervous parents. I am very happy with my son's pediatrician, even though i don't always to get to see my favorite Doc. But all in all, there is a reason why they are busy. Great staff very sweet and helpful.

I was very anxious to deliver m first child during a pandemic in HUG... I mean I was born in Grangettes... but life made that my only option at that time was HUG! Despite the fact that I waited a bit toooo long before being taken cared of (there’s nothing much they could’ve done) I was sitting at the reception for a good 30 to 40 min while I was in labour... I really loved all the rest. I ask for the chambre nature... for natural birth. The midwife was patient, calm, very attentive... and everything I wanted they gave it to me... the listen followed my birth plan (very much in line with their policy anyways). In a few words if you want a natural birth HUG is the place.

You should be prepared to stay 6h waiting for a doctor while you feel your body getting worse and worse. Just don't come here, definitely go to france, have love for your life.

Our baby was born at HUG Maternity. I would give negative stars if possible. It was the worst experience of our lives. They did not follow safe medical practices and did not put our interests first in their medical treatment. They lied to us and did not respect our wishes. HUG also made critical mistakes that lead to actions that gave us unneeded stress and they used it to push their care incentives that went against what we desired for the best care of our baby. It was the worst medical care and practices as well as patient interactions I have ever witnessed in a medical establishment. I will never trust HUG again. I highly recommend using another medical facility and recommend avoiding HUG at all cost. It was the worst experience of our lives and it was supposed to be the best with our joy in the arrival of our baby. Do not use HUG as their medical practices will put your baby and the mothers lives in danger and add stress that is unneeded and they will push their beliefs against your will on you when you are most vulnerable in your concern for your baby’s health and the mothers health. I in no way recommend HUG maturity and recommend you distrust them in every action and word they say and take in medical care.

We had our 2nd child here. The birth and post birth were great. The ante natal care however is a disaster. The midwives are stuck in the 20th century. My wife was convinced she was having a bigger baby this time and wanted an induction on the due date. Hospital staff were against it. Since she was not a “risk” profile, we had to really push for it, with tears and lengthy discussions. The midwives used their *hands* and *measuring tape* to give a weight estimate. They said it would be 3.2kg with 10% margin. Finally, we succeeded in getting an induction, 5 days after the due date - the baby was born naturally, weighing 4.2kg (!). It could have gone disastrously wrong if it wasn’t for our own persistance. Ironically, our doctor later said: “maybe we should listen to mothers more often”. Lol, yeah...

Great staff, the midwives were amazing, super nice, very knowledgeable and caring. The rooms and facilities are great also, and the staff always did the very best to make us comfortable.
