This was a wonderful experience - the waiter helped work through my group's limited French to recommend the lamb and it was fantastic - well marinated, not tough or chewy, and full of flavour. My friends ordered the set menu and were equally happy. It's definitely worth a visit for lunch before lazing the afternoon away by the Lake.

Was craving Ethiopian food after I left Toronto . Extremely nice service and great food!
Very friendly staff, portions are very generous and the food is amazing. I can highly recommend Awash.
Cool place but the tea served was disappointing :(
We had the beef and all the vegetables. Soo so good.
Authentic Ethiopian food and delicacies that will not leave you indifferent! The large platter with a mix of everything on top of the Ethiopian bread is a must to have! Also, do not forget to ask for the mint tea which bring in a bunch of hidden aromas that will entice you a second and a third serving!!
Love the place and the service. You can eat with your hands, but luckily the waiter have me cutlery as a European that is definitely a must.
Very authentic food and atmosphere. Super friendly staff. A great Ethiopian experience. Highly recommended
