Animals are clearly well cared for, staff are all very friendly and the area is clean and tidy. Cost wise Gentleshaw is a very reasonable trip for all ages.

Lovely little place to visit and for such a reasonable price! Nice to be up close to the animals and birds and all are well looked after. Nice clean and tidy place. Good place for children too. My 15 month old loved the place as she was able to see all the animals closely and clearly. Lots of good paths too for prams or wheelchairs. Staff are really friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend this place for a visit for an hour or 2.

This is a lovely place for a family day out.It has a shop,which at the moment is mainly christmas,garden centre,a train track that takes you around the whole park costing 1.50 each, animals park which includes horses,goats, birds and in the summer months do an air display.And a really good park for both toddlers and older kids, there is plenty of place for a picnic as have picnic benches,but they also have a really good restaurant. All in all you can easily spend the whole day.
Absolutely fabulous wildlife sanctuary. We all had a lovely time. My 14 month old twins loved toddling around and looking at all the animals. I've already recommended going to several friends and we will definitely be back! The children park and play area are fab too.
