My wife was a patient at Gentle Dental in Newquay Cornwall and she was being treated fot a severe overbite and Gentle Dental advised my wife that she needed a titanium mouth plate at the cost of 750.00 and after using the mouth plate she was still in a lot of pain her GP referred her to an orthodontist at the Royal Cornwall hospital trelisk who were baffled to why a dentist would advise her to have a plate of this kind as his opinion was that it served no purpose he also confirmed that the plate itself was not made of titanium but was in fact a lump of chrome and was baffled at why any professional would charge so much money for a piece of chrome. So please just be careful with what you are getting charged for at this establishment as in my opinion they took advantage of my poor wife as she was under the impression that this device would help with the pain she was in and to find out that the device was not made from titanium was a total rip off so please be careful

Can you see my fixed tooth? Because I can not either, book an appointment a week ago the same day when I chipped feeling quite bad about how it looks and today just a week after I had an appointment with them just to check it my friends and on internet I saw opinions saying that normally the price is around 140 and it might take a few days to get it fixed, IT COST ME 120 AND THE DENTIST DID IT IN JUST 20 MINUTES, very professional and very quick and the 120 pounds are completely worth for this job thank you so much Gentle Dental you have got my smile back!!!!
I have been using Gentle Dental for as long as I can remember and have always been very well accommodated by the staff. I am a bit of a nervous patient so finding a dentist that can help with that side of things is very important to me. Staff are always friendly and patient and talk me through everything beforehand so I know exactly what's going on. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth!
So friendly and they have an awesome system for the current situation and I felt safe.
Gentle Dental offers both a professional and friendly welcome. Nothing is forced on you as a patient, all decisions are made by you but informed by knowledge from the dentist or hygienist and supported by receptionists. So it might be that as a patient I (might) arrive tense and worried it is clear that however unnerved I am there is always a professional response to help me. Thanks to all at Gentle Dental!
