Fascinating melding of high technology, artisanal, and traditional skill sets to produce beautiful handmade barrels and wooden casks ( I’ve seen houses smaller than some of their casks ). I’ve taken the liberty of adding about 75 photos so people can see some of the many steps involved in producing of a Cognac Barrel including the charring process and assembly that I photographed while I was earning my Cognac Educator Certification.
