1) Get the order right. We asked for egg 3 TIMES and had to go back ALL THREE TIMES because your grill couldn't get it right. One of the meals was gluten free and didn't get a good feeling that the grill would be properly cleaned prior to cooking that egg. 2) The grill area was ATROCIOUS with STANDING WATER on the floor in front of the service door to the kitchen. The sloppy mess had migrated all the way to the end of the closest side of the food bar where the sauces are. 3) My wife left the table to take our 3 year old daughter to the restroom while I was at the food bar getting her and myself a second bowl of vegetables. Someone bussed our table and took my daughter's 1/3 eaten meal. YOU try explaining to a 3 year old why her food was stolen. We got her a second bowl but she was too upset to eat. 4) When my wife mentioned to our server that we were not ready to leave, we got an apology but my wife had to ASK for replacement drinks, and we had to ask ANOTHER SERVER for replacement forks! 5) When we asked for a box for my daughter's meal, we were told that, since we went back for a second time for her, they couldn't give us a bowl. We curtly informed the waitress that we would not have gone back HAD THEY NOT TAKEN MY CHILD'S FOOD. It took the manager (a less than enthusiastic and understanding individual) to agree that my child didn't get the "endless bowl" and give us a box. 6) Upon arrival, our "fresh" table was sticky, as were our seats.

This is the first Mongolian place I've been to, and I love the concept. You pick your own ingredients, and if you know what you're doing, you end up with an awesome meal. If you are able to balance an overflowing bowl of food, you can get your money's worth. Otherwise, it is a little pricey. The service was good and there were no cleanliness issues the times I have visited.
I went with a bunch of friends for the second time to this location, we were told that they will cook as much food as we could fit in the bowl, we were able to fit alot. They said "as much as you can" but when we gave them the raw food to cook they told us that we used to much. We tried to explain to them that we thought there was no limit. They told us that they were going to charge extra by charging us their unlimited buffet. We said that was fine but under that menu item it says we can't bring food home, which we were planning on doing. So we had to argue with the manager, who was trying to be a big guy by waving his dick around. We were trying to explain to him that he had made the decision to throw the food away rather than letting us take it home. He even said that " I am doing this in spite of you." He ended up calling the police on us, because he had the impression that we were not paying, which we never said. The cops agreed with us that the manager was being unreasonable. So we ended up paying the extra and he ended up throwing the food away. The food is alright but if you want the smallest amount of service or treatment, this place won't give it to you.
They brought my daughter raw chicken, we are still hoping she does not end up with food poisoning! Other than the undercooked meat the food was average quality. The cook initially told us that all of their noodles are gluten free before checking with another cook who said they all have wheat in them! I'm so glad that we insisted he double check on the ingredients. This place is over priced and dangerous, eat at your own risk!!!
Great place, make sure you get your bowl right, how good the food is depends on how well you make your bowl, watch out for the gg peppers, those suckers will make you think twice about how hot you can take your food. Good atmosphere, quick service, highly recommend it
I have never had an issue with Genghis, the waiters have always been nice and friendly. I highly recommend them.
I love the concept of picking out your own food, the serving trays appeared clean and the food was ready in no time. The waiter was very nice and very helpful since it was my first time.
Overall good. The food line is messy and dirty. Tons of sodium. The lines get pretty long during the busy times. Fun experience .
