I give 2 stars because when you actually receive service the food is really good. However my husband and i have went into the Winston Salem store 4 times within the last month and a half and until today we would wait well over 10 minutes each time without any acknowledgment of us even being there ( maybe 2 tables in the whole place) or either we would be seated and we never had a server even come to the table. Today we went in got a table received our drinks. Once we went to get our bowls and food they had more empty food containers than meat and EVERY thing we asked for she said with an attitude that they were out. So we decided to go to kickback jacks

No other branch considered hence I will not focus much on spices and sauces options they provide like other reviewers. *********************************** Review during the covid panemic visit: They now offer the customers can fill up their own bowls to start the process. Which I am kind of not completely in favour of (considering we're still in middle of pandemic) but I'd agree it is faster and more fulfilling for customers. The staff was friendly and welcoming but the service was not that fast (because they seemed a little understaffed - not their fault). Management needs to invest a little more on increasing staff. The people who worked here seemed to be working hard to get to the customers fast. The hygiene was good but not 100%. The food quality was very nice and nothing looked under/over cooked on the grill. ***********************************
Staff was limited. Food service was decent but only seen one waitress for 6 tables. Chef had to verify order at table and it still wasn't prepared with sauce provided. No bartender, even with customers sitting at bar, hostess was busy and let 3 customers walk out after standing at door for over 5 mins. Rating for food was 91.5 Waiting on more staffing and better rating before I return.
The worst ghenis grill I’ve ever been to. Sad part is it took so much time to seat us I had suggested to the manger to clean a dirty table off just so we could be seat. Looked like no one even paid attention to that table. Then after the the manager actually served us. She blamed the slow service on her new employees , which she scheduled & trained. Not a good manager at all. Her service was absolutely terrible. Took us an hr to get our food. She picked a fight with the cook...he got mad & put everyone’s food in a to-go box. I was so mad . We literally sat in there and hr just to take our food home.
Sydney was the best waitress I have ever had! She attended to our every need in the midst of the Saturday night rush. Highly recommend coming here just for the outstanding service she provided. She was handling pretty much every table enthusiastically and with a smile. Thank you Sydney for everything! You are a boss!
Great friday work lunch break Medium bowl with noodles and fried rice
This was the first time I have ever eaten this kind of food and it was absolutely amazing. The staff that we interacted with was so sweet and amazing. The one lady is pregnant and was very helpful in making sure we could sit to see our truck do to we were working next to there. The lady that took our order was helpful in explaining how everything went and how we get to pick out what we wanted meat , veggies and the sauces we wanted. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone .
I also previously gave this restaurant a 5 star and had to change it after my experience this evening. After trying to order online for almost an hour (from 3 different devices ) and having both the app and site sit there and spin I reached out to the store to see if I could place an order. I explained everything happening and was cut off by the CSR and told "We don’t take phone orders!" Ended up going to PF Chang’s due to this experience. Be careful who you have answers you phones cause that interaction sets the tone.
